Mcclain presents an eight-piece body of work capturing the moments in stillness where we rediscover our surroundings with renewed clarity. Existing in a present lens we are able to notice the beauty in the otherwise perceived “ordinary”. In this collection, McClain explores the extraordinary elements existing in the “pause”, translating to canvas the joy, awareness, curiosity, compassion, and growth we find in quieting our minds and opening our hearts.
