SUNNY SYMONNE-DIAZ
Sunny Symonne-Diaz is a self-taught digital painter who has been creating art since she could hold a pencil. Born in the 2000s, and growing up in the Age of Technology, she took a strong interest in digital art that soon turned into a passion—acquiring a Wacom Bamboo, which would be the first of many drawing tablets, in the 3rd grade. Then, in the 9th grade, she upgraded to the Wacom Intuos Pro and still uses that model to this day. She has almost exclusively been using the digital painting software SAI for all her works since she was in middle school, though adapting to more mainstream programs like Procreate within the past year. Inspirations include urban blight and inner city architecture, especially that of Chicago, where she was born. Nature is also a daily inspiration and her love for animals sparked her entire artistic career.
