JESSICA LEAL COLLINS
Jessica Collins was born and raised in McAllen, Texas, and is a self-taught contemporary artist. Her artwork is inspired and drawn from the vibrant and energetic colors of her South Texas upbringing and the simplicity of everyday happenings. Her paintings are created to be universal and convey enjoyment and an appreciation of life.
Each piece is an assembly of jewel-tone dressings graced by heavily textured acrylics, mediums, stones, and lustrous gold leaf. Jessica's passion for mixed media art derives from the unique process of allowing beautiful accidents to happen. Jessica currently lives in San Antonio, Texas with her husband and three beautiful daughters.
